Actions Speak Louder
ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER
Love your wife? Then say so - but better to do the dishes,
Clean the kids room, stuff she really wishes.
Love your son? Then spend a whole morning if you like
Showing him how to fix his bike.
Actions speak louder than words.
See that abused kid ? Maybe that once was you.
Ok - smile and speak to him, do.
Pass an old hobo in street let’s say?
Could’ve been you........maybe might be, one day.
He’s not always wanting money, just a hello, some respect.
Do your best in your job, with your friends, with your wife.
Be honest with yourself and all else will follow in your life.
Can you to your own self be true? If you can,
Then you cannot be false to any man.
It follows as night the day.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

NOTE
The last three lines are a modernized paraphrase of
Shakespeare's famous lines in Hamlet
