Acorns

Soon fall will start
Tall Oaks blow in chill winds
Dropping acorns
Food for woodland folk
As nights draw in
A long catnap awaits

So glad you liked Night Stalker! I love writting long ones and mostly no one reads or comment on them I really appreciate it! You have inspired an acorn verse! Light & Love

Congrats Nick!! This was such a beautiful write about fall-- couldn't help but feel those chilly winds and see those acorns--sort of reminded me of Enid Blyton's writes (one of my favorite children's authors), actually ---nikko :)

My favorite season is Fall! This is a colorful verse. I especially like how you describe Winter's approach. :)
