Absent-Minded

The husband
Opened
The door
And went out

He went
Down
The flight
Of stairs

On the way
He forgot
As to what
He was out to do

He forgot
Where he was 
Headed 
For…

So, he climbed
All the stairs 
Back up to his home
And rang the bell

Finding him empty-handed
His puzzled wife asked:
“Has the dairy 
Run out of milk?”
