Absence
The shadow of your absence
Leaves my mind to reminisce
In the ashes of every promise
That blew at silence
I saw the fire in my eyes
I smelt the hate on my breathe
I saw the cracks in the mirror
Burst at the silence of death
Something has burnt all my memories
And charred them past time
And the one thing I know for sure is that I’m losing my mind
My lips taste bitter sweet
Polished to shine by my own soul’s hate
And there’s a scar dripping down my cheek
From where I unknowingly took the bate.
