Abraham and Isaac
Abraham and Isaac ascended the mountain.
Isaac was Abraham's only son.
Abraham was going to sacrifice Isaac as a burnt offering
at the bequest of God's beckoning,
but Abraham didn't tell Isaac anything.
It turns out that Abraham didn't have to sacrifice his only son
because God changed His mind, so the deed was never done.
When descending the mountain, Isaac to his father did shout,
"Would you mind explaining to me what the hell that was all about?!!"
