Above the Clouds

Above the clouds...
I’m reaching there….
In the "twinkling of an eye"
Your eyes
That sparkle
Of fierce possession
Of domination
Of the cave man…”You’re my woman!”
Sensation

I’m getting there
My body floating
Your touch
Speeding me on my way
Wanting
Demanding
Claiming
Inflaming

Almost...almost there….
I’m breaking free
The world falls away
With a sigh I pass through
There in brilliant blue
Above the clouds
Scorched by the blazing sun
Eyes closed...I'm floating free
Nothing can bother me
The sheer abandon to ecstacy
Envelops me

I long to stay here
In this place
Untouched by time
And yet, I slowly descend
Very slowly I sink
Beneath the clouds
Opening my eyes
To the ordinary world
Of you and me
Wishing I could always be
Tasting eternity...
Above the Clouds.
