About the poets
Like us all poets, we are all the same humankind,
Our thoughts have no boundaries, no limitations,
We may be bound by the different virtues and vices in life,
But we all seek the same truth in love and sorrows of our life.
Sometimes our poem gets read by a few, sometimes no one cares,
Sometimes we get praised by fellow poets, sometimes we get
scorned,
Sometimes we feel elated with the honors bestowed, sometimes
we are left in our lonesome world,
But all the time, our mind and pen write the songs of our heart.
Of love, so many of us wrote, the saga of Romeo and Juliet and
Laila and Majnu,
our hearts bled with the sting of cupid arrow; our soul found refuge
in the eternal love,
In loneliness, our heart was on fire with longings as flame,
In desperation love appeared on every drop of our tear drops.
Of truth, every poet of every religion and culture wondered, what
was it?
Some found it in their favorite places, some found it in true love,
some found it within themselves, some found it in the beauty of
nature,
The truth lies in all of us, reveal it through love and compassion.
