Abandoned
They lay by the seashore,
Vessels that were once war ready,
They struck with an invincible claw,
Sailing buoyed and steady.
Its inhabitants were ruthless,
They had their chambers in hell,
They were brutal and merciless,
Everyone that challenged them fell.
Cursed by the sea,
They became a shadow,
Gloom pervaded their glee,
Their courage became a shrivelled meadow.
Their pride led to their fall,
The vessels became a sighing hall.
