A Wish To Fly
A childish whim, yet still I wish that I could fly
Above the clouds and through the Milky Way
For just one day to lift my soul into the sky
And there among the gilded moonbeams play
Above the clouds and through the Milky Way
To drift and dream and perhaps see heaven’s gates
And there among the gilded moonbeams play
In the music of the spheres my heart awaits
To drift and dream and perhaps see heaven’s gates
For just one day to lift my soul into the sky
In the music of the spheres my heart awaits
A childish whim, yet still I wish that I could fly…
