Our Weeping Willow Mourns
By the blue lake one sunny day
a willow watched us laugh and play.
Cool water surrounded our young love
and the willow watched us from above.
We embraced with such passion strong
as the willow sang a love song.
But you suddenly disappeared one rainy day
and I began to kneel and pray.
I wept and wept and felt so forlorn
and our beautiful weeping willow mourned.
