A Voice

A Voice Wrapped by a strange voice Hoarse and pale No variation in tone and rhyme Like a worm sticks to the ground It mumbles from the deep of my body Hovering between the throat and the nose Too heavy to carry all the secrets of the season A conspiracy of wind and heat When the wind blows, the heat arrives You can't free your body Until an arm will truly embrace it
