A Valentine's Prayer

A Valentine’s prayer, it is a love song,
from the gleaming stars, where we do belong,
together, we love, away from the throng.
You are the love that does sing in my heart,
joy, from which I know, I never shall part,
with you, I have always sung, from love’s start.
My Valentine, you do sing with love-light,
your song is a prayer that lights my night,
as in peace, we share joy, in love’s delight.
A Valentine’s prayer, we ever shall sing,
together we dance, as love’s bell does ring,
to passion’s altar, all our love, we bring.
Here in the night, our love, we do declare,
as we sing again, a Valentine prayer.

As we sing again, a Valentine prayer,
I now stand before, a beauty so rare,
my love, for you, I do ever declare.
Our love, sings its song, in joy so divine,
together, we stand, within stars that shine,
you are, forever, my sweet Valentine.
With every word of my Valentine prayer,
I sing of your beauty, beyond compare,
for your dear love, all, I would gladly dare.
Each night we do lie, before Luna’s gaze,
in my Valentine prayer, I sing your praise,
shall love you for the rest of my days.
I shall now tend you, with such gentle care,
as we sing again, a Valentine prayer.

As we sing again, a Valentine prayer,
deep into the night, within starlight glare,
I shall love you, as we are lying there.
I see the love that does shine in your eyes,
I hold you close, I am in paradise,
you ever belong in the starry skies.
Together, forever, we flow along,
our Valentine prayer, it is our love song,
my beloved, together we belong.
You shall ever be, precious love to me,
our Valentine prayer, sung in timeless sea,
knowing that our love, it shall ever be.
We two, together, we ever belong,
a Valentine’s prayer, it is a love song.
