A Toast to Valentines Day
On Valentine's Day, to you I must say
I've treasured every step along the way
Though we have both aged, with our hair turned grey
you’re still the one I met one wondrous day.
The beat of your heart is a melody
a lovely tune, so endearing to me
When in your arms we're a flawless duet
making music together is the best.
This day is to celebrate the glory
of the days and years that wrote our story
The ups and downs of the merry move round
special moments of joy, simply profound.
There’s no need for roses, diamonds or pearls
just hearing you say I am your dream girl
Let us skip a trip down lovers lane
toasting our love with a glass of champagne.
