A tiny rose bud

In the early hours of life
I saw a tiny rose bud
                                                             Years have passed
                                                        But the fragrance is fresh
                                                        Memories are mysterious
                                                             Recent is forgotten
                                                                Old is retained

T The heart too keeps memories
                                                              Away from brain
                                                        Seems intuitive, but true
                                                      Life has occult dimensions
                                                           All is not intelligible
                                                                Though real

                                                            Strange thoughts
                                                          Sweet and soothing
                                                       Come adding to my joy
                                                        I feel closer to myself
                                                         The wild disappears
                                                          Serenity takes over
