A Tale of My Will and Destiny
I take no Joy in telling my tale but I will tell it if I'm Abel;
so I'll Taylor this story to be Ernest and true,
but to be Frank, if per Chance you see through my lies,
my Hope for your kindness means I Will be Holden to you.
Now where to begin, I'm not quite sure, Grant me a moment if you please.
Ah yes, it began when I decided to Cruz to the bank for some Cash
so I could enjoy the Serenity of a friendly game of cards
and Chase my lonely blues away.
I jumped in the Van and headed down town
to the Christian prayer hall where the game was held,
but when I got there I was met at the entrance by a Goliath.
He said the boss was looking for me and Drew me in and locked the door.
"He says you're still Owen him money since last you were here.
Then you Skip out and leave him like a Maddox.
So you better settle up or a pretty Penny you'll pay
as he's Dustin his knife through a Pierce in your throat."
I thought to Jimmy the lock and run but he would just Chase me for Myles.
I would Tucker before he did anyway.
I'm really more of a Walker and I Tripp when I run Too fast.
He on the other hand is a Hunter, a real beast on the urban Savannah.
Luckily for me the boss' girl entered the room like an Ariel goddess.
She winked at me and I winked back. What can I say, she makes me Randy.
The goon smacked my head and I looked down at the Scarlett Clay drying on my shoes.
I knew what she wanted. She didn't have to ask. It was my lucky Perl watch.
I reluctantly handed it to her and with Grace she kissed my cheek and turned away.
That's when it began. With Constance he hit me until his strength began to Peter out.
Then through a haze I heard the sweetest Melody as the door opened
and he tossed me like a rag into the gutter. The Piper stood playing in a flowery Meadow.
I could smell a sweet Jasmine fragrance
as the steeple Rose stately above the Abby
and before my eyes the Trinity floated like a Nova above me.
Though bruised and battered my chest and Colin may be, yet, I am the Victor.
