A Tale of a Tail

A little squirrel sat down by me his tail as bushy as can be I spread some nuts in front of him He rejected them with his forelimb Wondering what he desired of me I hummed an ancient melody He hummed along, or so it seemed Tapped his tail in time to my song Soon enough, scampered he away ~ glad he did not overstay

Suuirrels don't stay in one place long, but it's a show wherever they go. Nice way to pass some time, just sit awhile and watch the birds and squirrels. :-) Thanks for the fun read, Gershon. Have a great day my friend! Bill

Several of my neighbors have squirrel feeders, and it's so fun to watch them flick their tail while they eat their treats :)

How cute. I really enjoy watching the antics of squirrels when in California visiting my loved ones. We don’t have the little creatures here and they are so entertaining to watch. I enjoyed your poem Gershon. Blessings xxoo
