A Tale From The Loom - XI to XV
"As such he ambled through to here which I cannot undo;
You are advised to still comply, ensure your line stays true"
No, not his rotund form alone did shake her to the core;
For that he could still move at all was not to be ignored;
It was the odours he exuded, stale of several weeks;
His shorts two sizes small and torn, revealing half a cheek!
His bulbous nose, carbuncled face and digits stained through smoke;
His T-shirt read "Take me, you b**tch , if you can take a joke!".
Now listen well, as I relate on how this tale unfolds;
The Witch distressed, under duress could not her anger hold;
For many a year she had prepared to meet the Handsome one;
But now she stood in shock and cried to see a smelly bum!
The Witch in measured tone took time to analyse the case;
She'd wished to stay in this sweet realm but this was a disgrace!
"Dear Dunkele", she said, "I have but one choice I can make;
Please know I cannot this sad soul for my true partner take"
"Well Witch, by all the laws that rule I cannot do much more;
I sense your pride can but advise of one rule as succor:
If you can make the Dragon sing a ballad of true love,
All will return, a Witches line will be full recovered"
With little more, the die now cast, the Witch was transported;
To somewhere lacking light and heat, smelling of something dead.
She spied two ruby dots amidst this dark and gloomy scene;
Which moved as she or not as she or so to her it seemed.
Then came a voice with pulsing depth that filled the very air;
She braced herself, now resolute, to show no sign of fear;
"Welcome my little one you are quite fearful I assume;
But know you I have waited long for light to touch this gloom.
I sense your purity, your grace, I am enthralled indeed;
To have my very own sweet Sprite to play with as I please.
I Dragon, in my wildest dreams would never think would come;
The day my void would be fulfilled with joy and ample fun"
"Before my master has his play I beg only for this;
A fire do I need to warm my body else I freeze.
I know a Dragon can command the fire and ride winds;
I know that darkness soothes a Dragon for solace it brings;
But know I am a creature who has lost her witching skills;
So grant me light and warmth so I can be without a chill".
The Dragon with one breath released a steady fiery stream;
And in an instant there was light and warmth where none had been.
