A Sweet Thansgiving
A sweet thanksgiving is
felt by all who are
grateful: as an obligation
and a fervent devotion
toward Someone
who's greater than us!
As the growing lights
of the new sunrise
engulf us in stupefaction,
magnificence strikes us
with its overwhelming force;
and in it we find consolation...
when our fading hope
is challenged by faith!
A sweet thanksgiving
is simply the appreciation
for being free and alive,
to thank the One who gave
us life...to continue living
with compassion and rendition!
