A Spring Day

Spring encapsulates all the things I dream of;
Flowers in bloom, what a heavenly sight
while being lulled by fresh rain that I love.
Breathing in sweet scents from morning ‘till night
elevates and inspires my soul to take flight.

Spring shares enchanted birth with the earth,
while butterflies flit from flower to flower.
Accomplice to this season’s musical mirth,
bird songs echo from bower to bower
as the glorious sun rises hour by hour.

All hues amaze against a myriad of green.
Daffodils and tulips rise from their sheltered sleep.
A time to be thankful for this peaceful scene
for rebirth in abundance my faith runs deep,
to all of God’s blessings each one of us reap.

Their joyful songs high in the trees celebrate the joy of springtime for God's little creations. I love your choice of flowers (which are fairly independent of mankind) to illustrate your quintain.
