A Spoonful of Snow
No spoonfuls of snow for Christmas, this simply can't be
I scattered some fake stuff among the Christmas tree
Used fake cans of snow on all of the window panes
No spoonfuls of snow for Christmas is driving me insane
Where oh where is that beautiful blanket of white?
For Christmas I need my winter wonderland delight
Not a single solitary snow flake to be caught on ones tongue
I desire that childlike innocence that makes one feel young
Please Santa I'm craving that luminous white stuff
No spoonfuls of snow for Christmas is just far too rough
The countdown is growing closer so Santa please hurry
What I want most for Christmas is to see some snow flurries
Sure your sleigh could be guided by glistening stars burning so bright
Bring us a blizzard and let Rudolph's red nose help guide you through the night
I honestly don't care if there's not a single present beneath the Christmas tree
When I wake Christmas morning just let there be real snow for me to see
Now Santa I realize it's a large request and I'm going out on a limb
You see my dad,my angel in heaven loved the snow and it makes me feel closer to him
Santa no spoonfuls of snow with a dash of love for Christmas it just doesn't feel right
Please bring me a glorious snow covered sight
I know you can't bring him back, but please grant me my wish
Not spoonfuls but shovelfuls of snow for Christmas is at the very top of my list
