A Sentimental Journey Gone Wrong

a sentimental journey childhood memories laughed at, spit upon rolled down the alley of make believe the porch railing I thought was thirty foot tall for almost twenty years is barely three feet off the ground wish I had never come back to take a look at our old porch.

Why as children see things bigger, see things work like a play watch, heroes where there is none. Children innocents. enjoyed reading.

Thank you Eve. I remember being shocked at how tall it had seemed, when I realized it was barely off the ground.

I went back to my grade school I was fascinated at how small everything was, including my Grade Three teacher. It was indeed an odd experience.
