A Sentimental Journey Gone Wrong
a sentimental journey
childhood memories
laughed at, spit upon
rolled down the alley of make believe
the porch railing
I thought was thirty foot tall
for almost twenty years
is barely three feet off the ground
wish I had never come back
to take a look at our old porch.
