A Selfless Hug
I realize now what I need to do
I realize now what I should have done
I understand why I’m still alone
When all I want is to share my love
I’ve kept too much inside my head
I’ve tried too hard to do what’s right
I’ve said too much to be believed
When all along…. it was me
I’ve kept myself from finding peace
I’ve built a wall around my heart
And though you’ve never looked my way
I’ve made it hard for anyone to see
So now I turn to look within
To seed my love where it begins
May sunshine reign, from God above
And feed the world, with all His love
May sunshine reign, in selfless love
For, all one needs, is
A selfless hug
