A Second Chance At Life

A Second Chance At Life Miracle Man Narrative 4-14-2023 Two months after major back surgery for Severe spinal stenosis, I survived the widow maker (12-29-2016) & three days later, (January 1st 2017) Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Five days are missing from my recall. Sixteen Fluid bags hung from a chrome drip frame and Doctors told my wife I had little chance of surviving. That it was in God’s hands. In seven days I went from sixteen bags to one and St. Francis Hospital Doctors & Nurses began calling me The Protected One, Superman, Miracle Man, A Fighter, A Tough Old Bird, And My Cardiologist once greeted me the day after Easter with “good morning Lazarus.” As I think back to New Year’s Day 2017 I’m reminded that it wasn’t / isn’t about me. I’m just the vehicle God used to witness to others. God had given me a second chance at life, And Miracle Man Was Born! Jesus Loves You!
