A Screech of Silence

A Screech of Silence I see a vision slightly blurred into the darkness while interred will greet the lightness in my musing In Vietnam there was no cruising just a slower trek toward death as time went by still increases into a screech of silence my guitar echoes with a hum lamenting chords within its thrum not seeing senses and not hearing evoking melancholia the populists amass not caring without their voices or their ears into a screech of silence the images I’m meant to feel will find a refuge in my dreams to share my guitar with my drums and sign my music with a seal a loud response that it will teem to all into a screech of silence Sounds of Silence Sponsored by John Hamilton July 28, 2019 Written to the tune of Sounds of Silence
