I was a sailor in Norfolk and still remember the whistling sailors. I married one who was not on a ship. He walked into the theater with five sailor ladies. No other guy had one there. They were like “Hey, are they all with you?” And he said, “Yes. This is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.” I told him he married the best day of the week. I’m sure you can figure that out ;)

I see that sailor boy's fame hasn't spread too far. Carry him back to Ole Virginny... lol. ~ Ship-shape and fat as a fiddle, gw

Good one, Robert. You write enjoyable limericks. That's a talent, you know, which I unfortunately do not possess! I envy you. My attempts to write limericks pall beside yours!
