A Romance By Phone
A Romance By Phone
by Rick Rucker
The wireless carriers are happy, I bet,
That we don't live together, Yet!
And further, that we don't have the same plan,
Last month's cellular bill was fourteen Grand!
I'm thinking of erecting my own cellular Tower,
Then I could talk to you, free, by the Hour!
I'm in Love, and not practical, see,
But it sounds like a very good plan to me!
I guess the next thing is to have the phone implanted,
Which sounds a bit extreme, granted!
I don't want to make you feel Alone,
So I'll live my life, while talking with you, on the phone!
