A Risque Show and Tell

I would like to go to a “Show and Tell” Where the children brought unusual things-- Things their moms said they absolutely could not Take to school and show to their classmates. The toy found under the bed in their parent’s room, Or the balloon in the neat cellophane package? Or a recording of bizarre sounds in the night That kept them from going to sleep. These are the things that would get attention And, oh, the stories the kids could tell If only they were allowed to be creative And not stifled when they make discoveries. written June 12, 2021

We found the "balloon in the cellophane package under our parents bed" and we chewed and chewed but it did not chew like gum and it would not blow up very far. Very disappointed.

LOL. What kid hasn't experienced this. My mother was horrified when I found her diaphragm and pranced into the kitchen and asked what it was. It was in the same drawer with her Kodak camera!

I don't know. Some things are better left in the dark. But I'm sure this has happened. Witty poem my friend. Have a great day.

Thanks, David, for your read and your comment. I agree wholeheartedly with what you said. I just remembered how embarrassed my mom was when, as a kid, I found her diaphragm. Now, what if I had taken it for "show and tell?" O, my goodness!!! Background. So, I wrote the poem.
