A Republican and a Democrat

Two candidates came to a homeless person near a pub
First candidate gave him directions to Welfare Office locate
Second candidate gave his card, money and offered a job
Gave him fifty dollars reaching into his friend’s pocket.
Pray tell me who is a republican and who is a Democrat.

Both have different ways of wanting to help people, but its the Republican (I think) that would offer the job. Have always had trouble figuring out who is the best candidate no matter what political party they are with. Your "quickie" really provokes a lot of thought here!

Dr. Ram; I really like this. May I say that I agree with Frederic, but at the end, neither one does much for anyone. Thanks for sharing this with us.... Lucilla

the Republican is the second guy. Hey, Dr. Ram. Isn't this one supposed to be about bubbles? I gotta see that one again!

My first response is the Democrat is giving directions, but most of them have no direction, my second response is its the republican who is spending other peoples money, but they only like to make money not spend it, so I'm caught as they both have no direction and neither is good with money but the homeless guy use to be middle class and is now broke,,so I'm at a loss
