A Rendezvous With a Swedish Girl
I remember very clearly a rendezvous’!
It was with a nineteen-year-old Swedish girl on holiday with her friend.
They had a room in the hotel I worked in.
My colleague and I, a barman,
became friendly and we used to go out together
That is how we dated these two sisters.
We took them to the most popular nightclubs,
These girls were very cheerful,
always laughing and liked to drink too.
One sister wanted to smoke cannabis.
I think that is why my friend got along exceptionally well with her.
On the other hand, I never liked any drugs,
I assume because I didn’t need them to get me high;
since I always drank alcohol.
On the last night, I bought two bottles of gin
which is the drink the sisters liked, and we all went to their room.
What happened to me that night I could never explain or understand?
At first, we all told jokes
and got more familiar as time went by.
The other two went on one of the single beds.
We could tell what was going on;
yet the two of us were happy to sit outside on the porch
and cuddled each other in the pleasant night breeze.
I tried many times to make love to her
but she kept refusing nicely.
I was getting frustrated,
but when she explained to me that being with me alone outside,
cuddling and kissing were more romantic.
I never thought of a woman like that before
I was astonished.
So I did not force myself onto her
and after an hour outside, we went to bed, cuddled each other
and I slept like a baby till the morning.
