A Real Man
As a man I know I have to work hard to provide for myself and my family
I understand I am to value my lady
Loving her with my heart, my soul, and every bit of energy that's within me.
My time and effect is always consistent
The empathy that I feel for her pain runs deep
I’ll make sure that she’ll never battle that hurt alone
And that I'll be there every step of the way
No matter what the world throws at me as a Black Man I'll stand tall, and form with my chest out, and
Refusing to forget who I am
Dam alI of my mistakes
I'll never allow an opportunity pass
But I always learn from my past mistakes
My parents raised me to be a man of loyalty, dignity, and honor
A man who is greatly respected by my children praying to be the man that they will look up to
Once everyone comes in contact with me they would be afraid to lose my respect
So ladies please understand,
These are characteristics, and actions of a man.
So sister also keep in mind that a Real Man wants you, and will he desire you,
He doesn't need you
Now that's food for thought from A Real Man
