A Real Cry For Mercy -Psalm 57: 1
Be merciful to me O God
I claim your loving kindness
your promises steadfast and sure
take away my folly and blindness
For my soul take refuge in you alone
as no one else is able to rescue me
you are the great God as my redeemer
in your salvation boundless and free
And in the shadow of your wings
there are my protection and shield
for you are the anchor of my soul
bow in your presence constantly yield
I will make you my hiding place
where no enemy is able to find
there I can be confident and sure
in your word, I recall to my mind
Until the great trouble passes by
for one great day, it surely will
our sovereign God is in control
He holds me and keeps me still
Psalm 57:1
(Be merciful to me O God, be merciful to me,
for my soul takes refuge in you alone; And in
the shadow of your wings l will make you my
hiding-place, until this great trouble passes by.)
