A Rainbows Cry

I sat under a cloudy sky...
Looked up to see a rainbow cry...

The colors ran down to my feet...
In a puddle of sadness it filled the street...

With just two hands I scooped it up...
And brushed it back on with little disrupt...

Now all the colors put back in place...
With a touch and feel of silk and lace...

The concept behind this rainbow write is divine! Picturing a rainbow being sad and then weeping its beauty into a large puddle in the street is childlike imagination. Such a refreshing write, Michael. I think it hit my heart more than anything I've read today! Gwendolen
