A quatern contest what a joy
Yes my second favorite form
I found this form like a new toy
Surely this cannot be the norm

You don't have to rhyme like i do
A quatern contest what a joy
Me I always rhyme through and through
Now I'm sure they're saying oh boy

Regardless i will still enjoy
Look how possibly could i not

For me this form hits my weak spot

Like my other fave it's from France
This form often do i employ
Trying to make all the lines dance

Oh how I agree with you, wayland. The quatrain, with its repeating lines, is up there with the villenelle and the pantoum in my book. I also love to write triolets. Good stuff, my friend.
