well at least Trump wants to DO something. All the inaction of the past four years is what caused Americans to vote him into office.

Andrea...they definitely are cut from the same cloth! We're about to see some remarkable initiatives and directives in government that may have unintended results...but it all remains to be seen. I hope they really know and care about how these changes will affect people like us.

EM and DT are certainly strange bedfellows but each one craves power and money. EM is an attention seeker, and although he gets plenty attention DT has collectively more global political clout, but he knows which side of his bread is buttered and thus dances to EM's tune for as long as EM wants this to happen. They both worship plutos and power and are intense egotists. in the long run, DT is small fry when it comes to EM's billions, so........he should be careful which side of the bed he gets out of every morning. EM is maybe looking at plutocracy as he is the richest man in the world. Very well penned and amusing Duke. Blessings, Jennifer.CHM

Jennifer, I think you have them figured out really well. It's hard for me to imagine why people like these can never be satisfied with the money they have. It's never enough. There's some kind of problem with that kind of need, and it likely reflects some kind of psychological disorder. We all have to die at some point. Hope you have a great 2025 and are able to enjoy every day! Take care!!!

Hi there Andrea and happy new year. I can see how you interpreted Melania's "place" as being in the same place she occupies. My intent was that Musk has taken her place with DT. This is really funny. You are really a very sweet person!!! Thanks so much! BTW, we've seen DT abandon wives for younger and sexier models. Not all men are that way (as I am certain you know) and some of us appreciate our wives beyond what they look like.

Nette, I'm guessing Melania is out and Musk is in. Just glad I have wooden floors here. I would not want to get shocked by any contact with these strange characters. This is beyond. anything imaginable just a couple of years ago.

IE, I think Melania probably wants as little to do with this as possible. Amazing how money makes for strange bedfellows. This was a funny set of rhymes that just came together. I'm not sure I can keep doing this well. LOL. Smiles and thanks for all your comments!

John, those two guys certainly bonded in a strong way. Some people say this will not last, but I am beginning to think they will be together for a while. It's part of a takeover of our government by plutocrats and those who cherish them. Smiles!

Hahaha!!!! This one is really funny... the musk is a bit or a rat, isnt he.... Shows what money can do.. He seems a bigger bigot than trump with some of his views.. so glad, lots of people are leaving 'X.' This is one of your favourites of mine... Excellent.

SO, thanks. There's definitely something strange going on. The money Musk has, gives him a tremendous amount of influence. He has the means to harness a lot of anger through populist claims, but really is interested in himself. I think there's something really wrong inside the heart he has. I too wonder if the Trump - Musk love-in may end in tears just like the Boris Johnson - Dominic Cummings relationship did here in the UK. Like you’ve said in the comments, two very strong personalities aren’t always a recipe for success ..despite Musk’s billions. Great limerick once again Duke. All the best. Cheers - Gary

Thanks Gary, I'm starting to think they might stay together for a while. Each has something the other wants and needs. Musk gives legitimacy (with unheard of amounts of cash) to the threats that Trump can use to intimidate all who stand in the way of his vision for the rest of us. Trump will also do what Musk asks since it appears to be part of the plan for a plutocracy here. Smiles!!

It's all very strange Tom. My wife thinks DT and EM will have a falling out soon since they both have massive egos and desire a sense of being worshipped as god. At some point this is a recipe for a break up, but we'll just have to see.
