A Prayer For Abused Children
I pray for the little ones who suffer and cry
In the hands of demons here on earth.
Parents who do not care if they live or die
Who never gave love, they just gave birth.
My heart bleeds with pain and this I ask
May God protect them, take them in His care.
Evil can wear its vile parental mask
And in cruel abuse take their life there.
I pray that this hidden crime be exposed,
That men be aware of the children's plight.
Move all men's heart, in Justice imposed,
Stand for poor children and for what's right.

( Inspired by the tragic stories of Ayeeshia Jane Smith, a toddler who died from lacerated heart caused her stepfather who stomped his foot on her chest, and Daniel Pelka (starved by his parents) Alexa Wheatley (beaten to death by her father Carl ) Nastya Meshcheryakova (who was beheaded by her nanny)
