This is another part of my series "My mission in a Poembook"
People pray in many different ways. Some pray solely in their hearts and minds. Some pray in short segments, some pray for long moments.Some recite poetry and alms. Some use familiar language, some use respectful. Some kneel, some stand, and some pray constantly. Some people see time spent in nature and meditation as a form of prayer. For me, any communication with God is a prayer.
In my Church we belive that God is our Heavenly Father. The Father of our spirits. And we belive that because He is our Father we should talk to Him as such. A prayer can be anything you want to put in it. I have prayed over my math homework so many times it isn't even funny
This is not a spesific prayer I have given, but it is an example of one of many prayers I have given.

My Father Above,
I give thee my love,
My service, my obiedience,
My faith, trust, and diligence
In return for everything
Thou hast given me.
Father
I give thee thanks;
For the flowers, and birds,
And trees, and snakes,
And trials that tempt
Tempt and test me
That make my heart
Turn to thee,
In everything I face.
Oh Father,
Give me peace
Through thy Spirit
Whom I seek.
Give me grace
For I am weak
And know that thou,
Oh God,
Art strong.
I seek to help
All those in need,
And thy sheep
I seek to feed.
To build thy kingdom
On the Earth.
To play my part
And show my worth
As a daughter
Of a King
Of a Divine and
Heavenly Being.
I love thee
Father.
May I do as
Thou wouldst have
May I fulfill
Thy Heavenly Plan
And follow Christ,
Savior and King,
So I may
Reside with thee
In Eternity
Is my humble prayer.
In the name of the
Beloved Son,
Jesus Christ,
The Risen One,
Amen.
