A Poetess's Trophy Saga

      A poetess, so in love with herself,
      Tried to reach her trophy on the top shelf.  
      She fell, split her gold pants!
      Now can't go to the dance.
      To cheer up, bought a hot ticket to France!

Like a balloon with air coming out.*This was a slam poem about arrogant poetesses.)) As I said 2 someone, somewhere. I am quite excellent at doing stand up and improv. But comedy in a "form" is not me. Funny Poems yes. Limericks are like one liners. I couldn't write one to save my life. There is a huge difference between wriiten humor and performance humor. Am good at the latter only. RICO,, Jan, Tom are so excellent at it. Dear friend, thank you for writing this. Hope you understand me. Humor to me is close to jazz that us improv and bounced off a live audience. I shine under these circumstances. Silly Pangie xx
