Words of meaningful life in the mist A place of depths beyond the soul Inspiration to the emotions hunger A dying anger searching relief Somewhere to turn in times need A poet, their own world of make belief The stories told both pain and joy felt A world where everything is as seems A life of promises and broken heart dreams A imagery into times space Reaching for stars of darkness A different light they breath air A belief they could make difference Even if in themselves the stories tell A change of a being words hold Or the being holds the words spoken An impression into the beings breath Where smiles are tears pieces Where hope, a distance darkness fades Life beyond death's persistent desire Endless rain, we feel the warmth A poet, close your eyes and dream the day They are of sunshine and passing clouds Blue skies where rays show through A moment between time peace indulged Engaged in them one mind and body Metamorphosis making transition to life Living eyes of butterfly dream Once thought cocoon was final grave Then it grew wings and flew A poet, where the grace of love finds us And our heart's, hear the whispers of the wind
