A Poems Prayer

If everyone could just take one minute out of their day...and pray with me...

Dear Lord,
Hear me Lord,
I’m tired Lord...really tired
Tired of all the pain in the world...Lord
Tired of all the hate...
Tired of all the killing in the world ...Lord...the killing Lord...the killing
Tired of all the suffering...Lord
And Lord, especially the children Lord, when the children suffer Lord...the children
Tired of seeing them going to bed hungry Lord...and sick Lord...and slowly dying 
I’m tired...I can not see any more Lord...we need you Lord, we need you now Lord
I’m tired of seeing mothers going to bed hungry so they can feed their children,
Seeing fathers not sleeping, worried sick not knowing how to feed their family,
Seeing children killing children, Lord no more hunger games, no more hunger Lord
I’m tired Lord...really tired...we need you Lord...hear us Lord...hear us now Lord
We need to feed the children Lord...we need to comfort the family’s Lord,
We need to stop the madness in the world Lord...nations killing nations Lord...
I’m tired Lord...but I always think about the children Lord...the poor children...
Now, I know Lord that they are with Lord...I know they are with you...the children 
There were many who only stayed here a short while Lord...who died hungry Lord
And they were not given any names Lord...no names Lord... only a brief life Lord...
I shall give them names Lord...on earth they will have names, for the children Lord
I will start with boys Lord...if you can please give them these names Lord

Joshua Lord...he had your smile Lord
Ethan Lord...he had your strength Lord
Samuel Lord...he had your wisdom Lord
Ulysses Lord...he had you humour Lord
Samson Lord...he had your charm Lord
                     
And the girls Lord...

Christina Lord...she too had your smile Lord
Hanna Lord...she had your inner light Lord
Rahma Lord...she had your beautiful eyes Lord
Isabella Lord...she had your temperament Lord
Sabina Lord...she had your tranquility Lord
Tabetha Lord...she had your inner love Lord

These are only a few Lord...
Each night I shall give others more names,thank you Lord...
I'm tired Lord...really really tired Lord...
Lord hear our prayers...
Amen.
