Author Dana Redricks May 12, 2017 My mother taught me how to love and forgive This woman of God Ms. Vera showed me That I should love the Lord my God, With all my heart, soul and mind My principle Ms. Louis taught me to believe I can and she spoke in a Way we all could understand My music teacher Mr. Fincher taught me the power of music and how to face my fear and to meet each challenge of my life even if I had To do it afraid Ms. Chastain taught me how to be creative And see things in a whole new way All these people helped me spread my wings To find my way They have become a piece of me because of the roots, they have planted deep within me They have left behind a legacy
