A Perfect Dawn.

Awoken I am to a perfect day, Her hair unkempt on the pillow lay, And while she dreams I take a peep, At the beauty she gives me, within her sleep. Her eyes then flicker to the beat of her heart, And I wish of her dreams to be a part, Tempted to kiss and gentle her lips, And honey to breakfast in gentle sips, All that she is, in silence she lays, This moment in time is the reason I pray, For God in his wonder did send her to me, That I might the beauty, of heaven then see. Rest in the moment and drink of its smile, Pillowed my thoughts so myself to beguile, Reach out to touch her perfect form, To awaken my love, to a perfect dawn.
