A Noisy House

A noisy House

Banging, clanging
screaming, squealing
babies crying

Mothers shouting
Keep quiet!

Dancing, singing
jumping, thumping
grannies munching

Mothers shouting
keep quiet!

Chatting, laughing
clapping, slapping
children scratching

Mothers shouting
keep quiet!...........

I sit here
in this noisy house
in a far corner
as quiet as a mouse

With pencil and book
and Ipod in ears
writing my poems
where nobody cares.

LOL! Sounds so typical of me sometimes. Listening to my iPod and shutting the everyday elements out! This poem brought a smile to my face. Wishing you a wonderful weekend. Peace always, John

Ahhhhh but I do care! Why are you not in your simple chair? Why do you not run and kiss Mom's cheek? Hugs the Grannie as you take a leap. Tickle the kids and aid the chaos, to fill with joy that lovely house! Light & Love d

Smile~Very flowing and creative, and lovely dear! Hello Precious & Gifted Maryam! I hope that Your weekend is going wonderfully for dear lady!? I really enjoyed how this write seemed to glide itself from beginning unto end~its says a lot about the vision and the care which its writer it seems, possesses! And, in this case~Smile~it shows Your ability to tolerate and focus~which are pleaseant qualities of character I would say! "My Love & Warmth To You & Yours, Always, John!"~Bye Dear:)
