A Nightingale Sings of Dawn's Glory
Far away I hear a dulcet song~
soaring like celestial symphony;
My weary heart and soul renewed
like a newly bloomed white jasmine
cheering for the first kiss of raindrops.
The indigo sky unlocks
dazzling galaxies hailing
in labyrinthine melody;
Reminds me of your sweet song
as you serenade me at daybreak.
The lulling music lingers
in galactic harmony~
blending with the neon lights
painting a new horizon in pastel pink
like your cheeks that blush
when I whisper, "I love you".
A grandiose prelude to a glorious dawn
unveils a thousand angels humming
as you and I hand in hand
sing in unison with the nightingale
as she sings of dawn’s glory.
