A Nice Relaxing Bath
I am taking a nice relaxing bath
At 2,000 miles a minute
Tossing buckets of water over my head,
Faster than age 2 does it,
Even letting some fly out of the tub
Because it’s funny, and it makes me laugh.
What the heck is relaxing about this?
Okay, Mom, I shall try again…
I am in a frenzy, dumping buckets of water over
My enormously tired body, wishing the mania will
Go away after this bath, and what happens?
I start laughing, thinking about how crazy
Dad’s relatives are.
Right, Mom?
They are all nuts,
So why would I be
Any different?
