A Newborn Babe
Cold winter
Grew colder,
Brought the ice
With a price.
A bad day
On my sleigh.
In despair
And prayer,
Very sore,
Looking for
End close by.
A warm dry
Place to stay
Of the way.
Not quite sure
Will endure
Lasting hold,
Frigid cold.
It is time.
North Star Chime.
Found a cave;
Not so brave.
Screams do rave,
Breaking wave
Through the air.
There, lie bare,
A newborn,
Early morn.
