Out with infighting and lack of general respect, Let’s restore our Congressional reputation Rank partisanship and grandstanding While padding their own coffers, I expect! Let’s rid ourselves of all the current trolls “Let’s throw the bums out,” it has been said, Not a one of them worth saving, I suspect. Better off with zombies at the controls. Let’s start by ditching Mitch; Pelosi, too, Right down to the bottom of the barrel Grifters, the shysters, and arrogant fools Send McCarthy and Schumer to Timbuktu. Greene, and Gaetz, and dummy Gohmert Publicity hounds and holier-than-thous Let’s start with a clean slate this year Out with Cruz, Cotton, and Lauren Boebert. Repubs and Dems—all those fat cats alike, We need to start with a clean slate now Hire those who will make government run Let’s tell Madison Cawthorn to take a hike. All of them! – I’ve just named a very few But I can’t think of a single one I’d keep, Clear out the entire House and the Senate We need to clean up this despicable zoo! I would like to get them all out and begin anew. "Let’s rid ourselves of all the current trolls" YES! And change it from lifetime terms to a one year term.

Consider the term for Represenative is only two-years, so directly they are elected, their focus is 100% on using their position and its resources to get re-elected. What a waste!

There's a lot of merit to your ideas, Caren. I would like to see the presidency be a six-year term, no reelection. If they can't get their agenda accomplished in six years, we need new leadership. Need term limits on the Supreme Court, too. I say throw out all the Congress after one three-year term. Oh well, what I think won't ever fly!

Every voter should be aware that when their legislator votes "the party line", that legislator is NOT voting for democracy, their constituents, nor their district, but the corruption is so blatant voters cease to see it! Aloha!

Indeed. I have always advocated second-time-around candidates should be required to list what they have accomplished for their constituents. Let voters vote on performance, not name-recognition or promises or war chest.
