A Muse For All
Everyone has someone
Whose been there in life
To push them to greatness
Pull them up when they've fallen
Giving pep talks
To raise one's spirits
Reminding of dreams
So to never lose sight of them
Nor what's important in life.
In dreams that inspire
Masterpieces onto canvas
To tales weaved by a pen's thread
That dwells within an artist's head.
This person can be family
A friend you admire
A mentor that motivates
Yet can also be fictional.
We turn to them
For guidance and support
Always there for us
As they guide us through life.
For this special person
Is our muse that we honor
That brings out the best in us
Making us shine like stars
Each of us has a muse
While others do not
But I believe
Deep within my heart
There's a muse for all.
