A mountain's perspective

Always reaching, always stretching is the moto I was born with Basking in the sun's warm daily embrace is my walk. Darkness doesn't cause me fear because the twinkle of the stars above gives me. hope. I never go hungry or or suffer want because my roots go deep into the earth. Congrats on 3rd place out of 35 entries! I loved this piece most especially based on the last 2 lines, the idea the deeper and stronger your roots are the less likely you'll ever "suffer want" as you beautifully put it. Well done!
