A Moonlit Night
¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ whispering trees
Hushed ¦¦¦ a broad-winged breeze
Where ¦¦¦¦¦¦ water gleams;
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ radiance ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦
With ¦¦¦¦¦ bird-notes calling.
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ no need to ¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦¦ fear ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ the growl and rumble ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦
That summons me from ¦¦¦¦
Silence ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦ yellow lilies ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦ in light
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ lead me through the night.
(Blackout of Before the Battle by Siegfried Sassoon)
