A Moments Glance

Today I watched a couple, shop for a ring The tenderness of new love, a life, a dream. I remembered the newness of love first known and how through the years we stand and look back on how it has grown. I thought of how we never foresee all the challenges and sacrifices that come in the years yet to see and how the newness becomes our new reality. I wondered if we could see the future in advance and know that a life lived together makes a marriage, a woman, and a man; would we still marry from a moments glance?
